Fan is a timepiece that slowly reveals the time by unveiling twelve stacked metal slices over the course of 12 hours, leaving the clock fully open only twice a day.

The clock blossoms completely like a flower at midday and midnight. Only on these two distinctive occasions can the structure be admired in its completeness. Once 12 o’clock has passed, the artefact closes again and the time can be told by the red arrow that lies on top of the unit, until 1 o’clock when the clock begins opening again.
